i'm clint grover with never done industries and today we're playing at the derby! clint: alright i'm here with brandon the driver of the #17 car that we sponsored for the derby clint: why don't you tell us a little bit about what you've done to the car. brandon: it's a 1979 thunderbird brandon: it's got the 351 modified in it, we changed out the timing chain in it brandon: to a comp cams double roller timing chain. brandon: eliminated all the emissions, and put a carb spacer on there. brandon: rebuilt the carb, it's got an hei distributor, and some hooker headers that we flipped upside down

brandon: and then welded some big stacks on there. we've eliminated the clutch fan brandon: and put a plastic electric fan on the radiator. batteries are wired inside on the floor. brandon: we run two 950 cranking amp semi batteries in there. then we've got the gas tank in the back brandon: and the tranny cooler mounted in the back with an electric fan on the tranny cooler. clint: that thing should be pretty wicked! brandon: we've also got some 4.11 gears in the rear end with a full spool clint: stay tuned!
